This Christmas, the telecommunications operator MEO decided to invest around 80% of its budget for the Christmas season in promoting a project that aims to respond to two major current problems in Portuguese society: loneliness and the housing crisis. The national initiative “Partilha Casa” aims to bring together young university students looking for a home and seniors who live alone. In the launch phase, the Abraço de Gerações Program, from Coimbra, and the Une.Idades Program, from Lisbon, as well as Gebalis, as a partner promoting this concept in the city of Lisbon, are part of the project. It also has the Municipal Councils of Porto, Coimbra and Lisbon as project partners. In this Imagens de Marca report we discovered the role that MEO wants to take on in Portuguese society.
